What is floating

About floating

Constant sensory overload and rush take a toll on all of us.That’s why we’ve created a space where you can relax and let go. In the sensory-free and weightless environment of the float tank, your mind is freed from the constant stream of stimuli, and your body achieves deep relaxation.

The float tank is a spacious enclosed pool filled with highly saline water. The saltwater is heated precisely to skin temperature, creating the sensation of not being able to distinguish where your body ends and the water begins. Each tank contains over 1,000 liters of saltwater, with a salt concentration even higher than the Dead Sea, making floating completely effortless.

The tank is insulated from light and sound, ensuring a truly sensory-free experience. Lights and sounds are under your control, giving you complete control over your session.

Benefits of Floatation therapy

Brain

Floatation therapy provides a unique chance for the brain to deeply rest in a completely stimulus-free environment. Stress hormone cortisol levels decrease, while feel-good endorphins surge. This process allows the brain to reset, recharge, and find clarity amidst the constant demands of modern life.

Mind

The absence of external stimuli helps focus on the present moment, breaks the cycle of constant interruptions, and enhances concentration and mindfulness in daily life. The brain transitions into a state between wakefulness and sleep, activating theta wave production. In the float tank, the mind naturally gravitates toward a meditative state.

Body

In the float tank, your body, suspended in saltwater, reaches a state of profound relaxation. The feeling of weightlessness relieves physical stress, naturally lowers blood pressure, and slows the heart rate. Tension melts away as your spine gently stretches and restores itself, promoting deep recovery and renewal.

Nervous System

An overactive nervous system manifests in many everyday challenges, such as sleep difficulties, concentration problems, and chronic stress. Floatation therapy balances the autonomic nervous system and activates the parasympathetic, or “rest and recovery,” system.

Creativity and Focus

In a stimulus-free environment, external distractions no longer limit your mind’s wandering. This unleashes imagination, enhances problem-solving abilities, and boosts creative thinking and ideation. A float tank becomes a one-person think tank, a space for innovation.

Wellbeing

Floatation therapy immerses you in a deep state of calm where stress melts away, and your body, mind, and nervous system rejuvenate. The absence of distractions frees your creativity, sharpens focus, and strengthens your presence. Relaxed, you become your best self—balanced, focused, and genuinely present.
